In this role, the Account Direc­tor will be respon­si­ble for the busi­ness rela­tion­ships across a major agency hold­ing com­pa­ny on behalf of Adap.tv, and will guide the clients’ use of the Adap.tv plat­form and auto­mat­ed buy­ing activ­i­ty. They will be respon­si­ble for lead­ing cross-func­tion­al teams to ensure suc­cess against the exist­ing busi­ness. Part­ner­ing with the sales team to pur­sue new growth oppor­tu­ni­ties, and build senior, advi­so­ry rela­tion­ships through­out the client orga­ni­za­tion is para­mount. So who is the ide­al Dig­i­tal Ad Sales Account Exec­u­tive for Adap.tv?
Know your way around and han­dle your­self – from junior oper­a­tions up through senior exec­u­tives, estab­lish­ing trust­ed rela­tion­ships and serv­ing as a sub­ject mat­ter expert. Act as advo­cate for the cus­tomer inter­nal­ly, dri­ving prod­uct requests and pri­or­i­ti­za­tion over the cus­tomer life­cy­cle. You’re going to be want­ed to ensure cus­tomer suc­cess as the clients adopt their tech­nol­o­gy for auto­mat­ed media plan­ning, buying/selling, data inte­gra­tion, ad serv­ing, cam­paign opti­miza­tion, and report­ing ana­lyz­ing activ­i­ty, focus­ing on per­for­mance, cus­tomer insights, and ROI.

Fore­cast, man­age, and achieve quar­ter­ly tar­gets around rev­enue, while estab­lish­ing client best prac­tices, and devel­op new process­es to help the cus­tomer rela­tion­ship scale. Cre­ate com­plex cus­tomer engage­ment, includ­ing lead­ing and moti­vat­ing a cross-func­tion­al team of sales direc­tors, client ser­vice man­agers, account coor­di­na­tors, prod­uct man­agers, and client strat­e­gy resources. Since more is bet­ter, Increase the stick­i­ness and rev­enue of exist­ing rela­tion­ships by sell­ing cus­tomers on deep­er, more strate­gic engage­ments – via new tech­nol­o­gy features/capabilities, addi­tion­al inventory/demand, RTB/programmatic buying/selling, con­nect­ing to pri­vate exchanges.

Deep under­stand­ing of agency hold­ing com­pa­nies, trad­ing desks, and media agen­cies. Do busi­ness and man­age client rela­tion­ships with a sense of account­abil­i­ty and urgency, but also will­ing to be “in the trench­es” with the team to ensure exe­cu­tion­al excel­lence on behalf of assigned accounts. 8–12 years of account man­age­ment expe­ri­ence, 5–7 years of online adver­tis­ing expe­ri­ence; empha­sis on video and/or pro­gram­mat­ic a plus. You want to be a key­stone for grow­ing a video adver­tis­ing busi­ness
