Walmart Mobile App Check out by Phone

To combat long waits at Walmart check out lines, the company is testing a new smartphone mobile app checkout system at some of its stores.  Customers would scan their items with their phone and then bring everything to a self checkout counter for payment. How Amazon will Blow Away Google

When are web users bypassing Google for Amazon?  When they are searching for products.  Why search in Google for products that are on Amazon?  It gets even more significant when mobile comes into play.  Using Amazon’s mobile app shoppers can buy at Amazon right from their phone. Is Singapore Ready for Groupon?

Tech Asia recently reported that Groupon Singapore opened the world’s first Groupon retail store in Singapore’s Suntec City Mail today. The COO of Groupon, Adrian Tan, explains that the first shop can be thought of as a “concept store.” The practical purpose will be to deliver better service and provide enhanced interaction with its shoppers. This is no simple goal, but it seems as if their new store will be able to accomplish the task. The shop will allow the customers of the company to pick up products which they have purchased from the Groupon site and iPads will be provided within the store, which will allow shoppers to redeem their daily deals coupons instantaneously. This is a unique concept, which makes the company unique and provides a social impact. If you are interested in having an impact on society, then you might consider applying for a job with the company. If you are looking for a job this might be a good company to work for because the company recently went public in the United States and is growing rapidly. In case you aren’t sure about what Groupon is, it is a “deal-of-the-day” website that is localized depending on…
