The Prod­uct Man­ag­er Role

Prod­uct Man­agers at Axi­al­Mar­ket lead the ideation process, define the prod­uct, and work with Engi­neer­ing to launch new prod­ucts and fea­tures. Prod­uct Man­agers are part of a mul­ti-dis­ci­pli­nary team of prod­uct devel­op­ment, design, QA, and UX pro­fes­sion­als who col­lab­o­rate close­ly with each oth­er to build prod­ucts that touch mil­lions of people.

Prod­uct Man­agers at Axi­al­Mar­ket are data-dri­ven, crit­i­cal thinkers with a strong under­stand­ings of tech­ni­cal appli­ca­tion devel­op­ment, the right design sense, and an excep­tion­al abil­i­ty to inter­pret user behav­ior and intent.

Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

Dri­ve all stages of the prod­uct devel­op­ment life cycle.

Deeply under­stand the mar­ket oppor­tu­ni­ty and iden­ti­fy the needs of our “Mem­bers,” to cre­ate new and improve exist­ing Axi­al­Mar­ket products

Effec­tive­ly strate­gize, orga­nize, and com­mu­ni­cate new ideas and con­cepts to the orga­ni­za­tion at large

Cre­ate require­ments for new prod­ucts and fea­tures, and work with rest of the Prod­uct Devel­op­ment and Engi­neer­ing teams to man­age the end-to-end implementation
Qual­i­fi­ca­tions:

BA/BS degree, prefer­ably in Com­put­er Sci­ence or relat­ed field

4+ years of rel­e­vant work expe­ri­ence in an out­stand­ing prod­uct organization

Expe­ri­ence build­ing prod­ucts with agile prod­uct devel­op­ment principles

Abil­i­ty to lead pro­duc­tive brain­storm­ing ses­sions and cre­ate thought­ful prod­uct plans

Great team­mate, great atti­tude. Arro­gance, snark­i­ness, or imma­tu­ri­ty isn’t tolerated

Dri­ve and urgency to build great products

Pre­ferred Qualifications:

Direct expe­ri­ence launch­ing notable prod­ucts in ear­ly stage or high-growth environments
