The Product Manager Role
Product Managers at AxialMarket lead the ideation process, define the product, and work with Engineering to launch new products and features. Product Managers are part of a multi-disciplinary team of product development, design, QA, and UX professionals who collaborate closely with each other to build products that touch millions of people.
Product Managers at AxialMarket are data-driven, critical thinkers with a strong understandings of technical application development, the right design sense, and an exceptional ability to interpret user behavior and intent.
Responsibilities:
Drive all stages of the product development life cycle.
Deeply understand the market opportunity and identify the needs of our “Members,” to create new and improve existing AxialMarket products
Effectively strategize, organize, and communicate new ideas and concepts to the organization at large
Create requirements for new products and features, and work with rest of the Product Development and Engineering teams to manage the end-to-end implementation
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
4+ years of relevant work experience in an outstanding product organization
Experience building products with agile product development principles
Ability to lead productive brainstorming sessions and create thoughtful product plans
Great teammate, great attitude. Arrogance, snarkiness, or immaturity isn’t tolerated
Drive and urgency to build great products
You are an exceptional communicator in all contexts: written, spoken, internal, external
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience launching notable products in early stage or high-growth environments
Understanding of web-based data and analytic models
Prototyping capabilities
