Who is the ide­al Account Exec­u­tive for Hulu?

Dri­ve local adver­tis­ing sales to meet and exceed all sales goals, focus on client direct and agen­cies in the East coast region. Work as a part­ner to help clients reach their goals and ini­tia­tives, par­tic­i­pate and rep­re­sent Hulu at local indus­try events. Be an ambas­sador for the Hulu brand. Main­tain a deep under­stand­ing of cur­rent online adver­tis­ing trends and inno­va­tions, prospect­ing and cold call­ing skills nec­es­sary. Relent­less pur­suit of new busi­ness and a “nose to close.”

Work cross-func­tion­al­ly across the sales teams like Adver­tis­ing Solu­tions, Ad Oper­a­tions, Cre­ative, Research, etc. to cre­ate cut­ting edge adver­tis­ing programs.

Min­i­mum 5+ years of local TV sales and/or dig­i­tal sales expe­ri­ence. Must pos­sess estab­lished, senior-lev­el rela­tion­ships with adver­tis­ing agen­cies and brands. Abil­i­ty to negotiate/sell the intrin­sic val­ue of a pro­gram to cus­tomers, not just the program/price. Abil­i­ty to man­age a spe­cif­ic ter­ri­to­ry and mine it for busi­ness oppor­tu­ni­ties in order to meet quo­tas. Abil­i­ty to work in a fast pace, excit­ing envi­ron­ment. Stim­u­lat­ed by a break­neck pace and unwa­ver­ing com­mit­ment to qual­i­ty. Strong com­mu­ni­ca­tion and pre­sen­ta­tion skills, abil­i­ty to trav­el up to 50% of the time. Team­work and inter­per­son­al skills with a pas­sion for tele­vi­sion. BS/BA degree.
