Who is the ideal Account Executive – Advertising Sales for Roku
This position is on the front lines of generating media ad sales and sponsorship revenue. The ideal candidate will be evangelizing their advertising offering to agencies and brands direct. A background in digital video advertising, premium publisher cross-platform media sales, and sponsorship sales is required. Must be driven to work independently and resourceful to manage many duties, including cold calling, account management, media planning, campaign reporting & optimization, develop sales proposals, presentations, marketing materials, and ideate custom solutions.
The right candidate has worked in a digital start-up environment and is familiar with the required dedication for long hours, fast paced/multi-tasking duties, embraces and thrives on uncertainty.
You’ll be a key contributor to revenue, work against aggressive advertising revenue goals — need to hit the ground running and be a fast learner. Research, develop, and pitch media plans and promotions featured on Roku. Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of sales targets, contacts, and sales opportunities via cold calling and leveraging your brand connections and their AORs. Provide campaign management, optimization, reporting, recaps, and lead upsell opportunities
Can you collaborate with editorial on sponsor-able custom content solutions, support research in development of winning case studies? Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital video & premium publishing commission based advertising sales. Experience with display, video, mobile, email, and custom content ad sales. Demonstrate a successful track record in closing large, complex, and custom advertising sales with entertainment advertisers and key stakeholders at their agencies.
