Time Inc.’s Lifestyle division is looking for an experienced account executive to join the Real Simple digital team. Real Simple is a premiere lifestyle destination with more than 10MM monthly unique across desktop and mobile, and is aligned with Cozi, the leading shared calendar product for busy families, reaching over 12MM unique users.
This position will service digital accounts within the NY Region. (S)he will work closely with client and agency contacts on a daily basis to provide creative digital solutions to address advertiser needs. The Account Executive will also work collaboratively with numerous internal constituencies, including integrated colleagues on cross-platform programs.

The ideal candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills who brings energy and enthusiasm to the position and an ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced team environment. Successful candidates will have extensive digital experience and client relationships. Evangelize and differentiate the Real Simple digital platforms, including Cozi.
Maintain and grow revenue to exceed goals.
Can you build strong relationships within the digital advertising community. Manage all steps in the sales process from prospect identification through deal closing and campaign execution. Collaborate effectively with integrated counterparts, as well as Corporate Sales on multi-brand programs. Work effectively with internal teams, including Marketing, Sales Planning and Ad Operations to develop and execute creative ideas.
You’ll need 3+ years digital advertising sales or agency experience, including mobile. A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals. Demonstrated history of strategic, consultative selling. Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations to successful closure.
Experience coordinating and selling digital and multi-platform programs preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including highly developed presentation skills. Ability to multi-task and deliver against deadlines.
