Media Planner Buyer with Traditional and Online experience
We are lookÂing for an expeÂriÂenced and responÂsiÂble Media PlanÂner & BuyÂer with both TraÂdiÂtionÂal and On-Line expeÂriÂence. We are a full serÂvice ad agency which speÂcialÂizes in develÂopÂing fulÂly-inteÂgratÂed marÂketÂing proÂgrams, utiÂlizÂing both traÂdiÂtionÂal and non-traÂdiÂtionÂal media tacÂtics to driÂve marÂketÂing results includÂing: guerilÂla, brandÂed conÂtent, viral and social media. We pride ourÂselves in underÂstandÂing which strateÂgies and tacÂtics are best for each tarÂget audiÂence that we are marÂketÂing to. We work off of a BrandÂed Response modÂel where we help build our clienÂt’s brands while driÂving conÂsumer response.
QualÂiÂfied canÂdiÂdates will have a strong track record of evalÂuÂatÂing, negoÂtiÂatÂing, and purÂchasÂing both on-line and traÂdiÂtion media camÂpaigns. The ideÂal canÂdiÂdate must be a self-motiÂvatÂed, self-starter with a strong work ethÂic and able to learn new methÂods. Must posÂsess the abilÂiÂty to take conÂtrol of the Media Plan and Media Buy, from planÂning through exeÂcuÂtion and post-adverÂtisÂing analyÂsis. Must be able to comÂmuÂniÂcate and present to all levÂels of the agency and client senior management.
Job DescripÂtion:
- DevelÂop an inteÂgratÂed media plan (utiÂlizÂing a mix of on-line and traÂdiÂtionÂal media) which meets clients MarÂketÂing ObjecÂtives and Media budget.
- OverÂsee media buys — includÂing inserÂtion orders, canÂcelÂlaÂtions and media change requests
- Report perÂforÂmance results daiÂly to manÂageÂment team
- NegoÂtiÂate and manÂage agency partÂner relaÂtionÂships that result in conÂsisÂtent ROI
- Have priÂor expeÂriÂence with Print and outÂdoor media buys and negotiations.
- RecÂomÂmend TV and Radio budÂget levÂels on a weekÂly, monthÂly and quarÂterÂly basis
- ComÂmuÂniÂcate daiÂly with agenÂcies to ensure speÂcifÂic metÂrics are being achieved ‑includÂing cost per visÂiÂtor and conÂverÂsion targets
- AnaÂlyze results daiÂly and optiÂmize profÂitabilÂiÂty through data analysis
- AnaÂlyze media buys and achieve volÂume, CPM and ROI goals
- ProÂvide post camÂpaign analyÂsis and recÂomÂmenÂdaÂtions for improvement
- ManÂage the media clearÂance and daiÂly spend paraÂmeÂters in order to achieve preÂdictable call and trafÂfic volumes
- RecÂonÂcile invoicÂes based on actuÂal media spend

- Proven sucÂcess at optiÂmizÂing, negoÂtiÂatÂing new media buys and re-negoÂtiÂatÂing existÂing media deals to capÂiÂtalÂize on ROI.
- AbilÂiÂty to evalÂuÂate curÂrent marÂket withÂin all media propÂerÂties and idenÂtiÂfy media buys that match tarÂget customer
- ExpeÂriÂence manÂagÂing small to mulÂti-milÂlion dolÂlar media budgets.
- SolÂid orgaÂniÂzaÂtionÂal, preÂsenÂtaÂtion and anaÂlytÂiÂcal skills are essential
QualÂiÂfiÂcaÂtions:
- Able to put togethÂer and present full media decks w/ posiÂtionÂing, stratÂeÂgy and recommendations
- Strong comÂmuÂniÂcaÂtion skills
- 10 years of traÂdiÂtionÂal adverÂtisÂing media buyÂing and 2–3 + yrs. of on-line media buyÂing and/or busiÂness develÂopÂment expeÂriÂence focused on online cusÂtomer acquisition
- ExpeÂriÂence buyÂing in-house and for an online or DRTV busiÂness, a plus strong anaÂlytÂiÂcal thinkÂing with good quanÂtiÂtaÂtive skills
- ExpeÂriÂence workÂing with supÂport team
- A Bachelor’s Degree required
