In this role, you will report to the Sr. VP of MarÂketÂing to manÂage adverÂtisÂing, sponÂsorÂship and cusÂtom develÂopÂment, and sales efforts while overÂseeÂing client and agency relaÂtionÂships. You will develÂop a pipeline of adverÂtisÂers in all marÂkets with the purÂpose of cold callÂing, prospectÂing, idenÂtiÂfyÂing, sourcÂing, pitchÂing, definÂing, negoÂtiÂatÂing, closÂing and manÂagÂing interÂacÂtive adverÂtisÂing revÂenue from direct adverÂtisÂers, ad agenÂcies and netÂwork partners.
You’re needÂed to conÂtinÂuÂalÂly pitch direct clients and adverÂtisÂing agenÂcies on new camÂpaigns; UnderÂstand client busiÂness modÂels to effecÂtiveÂly onboard new busiÂness. DevelÂop and mainÂtain relaÂtionÂships at all perÂsonÂnel levÂels withÂin an account, demonÂstratÂing a thorÂough underÂstandÂing of the accounÂt’s orgaÂniÂzaÂtion, needs and revÂenue potenÂtial. PerÂform weekÂly, monthÂly sales trackÂing, and quarÂterÂly foreÂcastÂing. IdenÂtiÂfy and underÂstand trends withÂin client marÂkets and indusÂtries. Meet or exceed quarÂterÂly sales quoÂtas while workÂing with cross-funcÂtionÂal teams interÂnalÂly to ensure camÂpaign sucÂcess and growth of partÂnerÂships. StrateÂgize and genÂerÂate revÂenue through sales calls and sales preÂsenÂtaÂtions introÂducÂing and posiÂtionÂing the Cappex cross-chanÂnel adverÂtisÂing opporÂtuÂniÂties (banÂners, sponÂsorÂships, co-regÂisÂtraÂtions, email, social media) into high-valÂue brand adverÂtisÂer accounts.
3+ years’ expeÂriÂence in the marÂketÂing and sales of digÂiÂtal adverÂtisÂing for online conÂtent, specifÂiÂcalÂly sponÂsorÂship, disÂplay and co-regÂisÂtraÂtion opporÂtuÂniÂties (BanÂner, DisÂplay, SponÂsorÂships, Social Media, Email, and Mobile). Proven track record in develÂopÂing and mainÂtainÂing profÂitable relaÂtionÂships with adverÂtisÂing agenÂcies and direct adverÂtisÂers and meetÂing or exceedÂing indiÂvidÂual revÂenue tarÂgets on a conÂsisÂtent basis. DemonÂstratÂed abilÂiÂty to work with clients to come up with creÂative soluÂtions to their adverÂtisÂing needs. Fast learnÂer and team playÂer with abilÂiÂty to excel in a highÂly comÂpetÂiÂtive marÂket and fast-paced interÂnal environment.
HighÂly effiÂcient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowÂerÂpoint and OutÂlook) and knowlÂedge of using anaÂlytÂics tools to delivÂer camÂpaign perÂforÂmance metÂrics. EduÂcaÂtion techÂnolÂoÂgy, DART for PubÂlishÂers and CRM expeÂriÂence (e.g. salesÂforce) a plus. Must be adaptÂable as dynamÂics around the role and responÂsiÂbilÂiÂty withÂin the orgaÂniÂzaÂtion change as the team evolves.
