The Social Media MarÂketÂing ManÂagÂer will be responÂsiÂble for social media efforts designed to increase brand awareÂness and engageÂment in proÂmotÂing tune-in/streamÂs/views for MTV World’s long form series on varÂiÂous platÂforms. CreÂativÂiÂty in conÂtent creÂation is an extremeÂly imporÂtant part of this role. This includes social efforts that are part of marÂketÂing plans across varÂiÂous online comÂmuÂniÂties and social platÂforms. You must have a comÂplete and instincÂtive underÂstandÂing of social netÂworks, new trends and how they can be leverÂaged colÂlecÂtiveÂly to driÂve impact, loyÂalÂty and engagement.

This perÂson will also be responÂsiÂble for manÂagÂing conÂtent on the YouTube platform.

MainÂtain awareÂness of indusÂtry trends and the comÂpetÂiÂtive landÂscape, includÂing social media best pracÂtices, emergÂing social tools, etc. and ongoÂing monÂiÂtorÂing of peer accounts/efforts. ExplorÂing new social media marÂketÂing opporÂtuÂniÂties for MTV World.
KnowlÂedge of FashÂion, Film, Music, and Activism conÂtent and relÂeÂvant playÂers in these catÂeÂgories. AbilÂiÂty to act as a social conÂtent curaÂtor actiÂvatÂing fan comÂmuÂniÂties. Experience/proven sucÂcess with social media pubÂlishÂing and comÂmuÂniÂty develÂopÂment, monÂiÂtorÂing and meaÂsureÂment platÂforms. ExcelÂlent verÂbal and preÂsenÂtaÂtion skills, creÂative writÂing and stoÂry-telling skills. ExpeÂriÂence workÂing with PhoÂtoÂshop. MotiÂvatÂed self-starter and soluÂtions oriÂentÂed probÂlem solver. At least 3 ‑5 years of relÂeÂvant experience.
