How much Money can you make in VR?

How much money can you make in VR?

As a race, we humans have finally hit the wall. Reality just doesn’t cut it anymore. We need virtual realty ( VR ), augmented reality. mixed reality. It’s evolution. It’s progress. It’s what all the cool kids are talking about. And it’s about to be a huge business opportunity. Last fall Forbes reported that more than $4 billion had been invested in virtual reality since 2010. That actually doesn’t seem too overwhelming a figure for such a high-tech sci-fi type of enterprise, and it seems much lower when you consider that $2 billion of that was Facebook buying Oculus, the maker of the Oculus Rift VR headset that has been the talk of VR enthusiasts for the last few years but still hasn’t made a breakthrough. Then there was the much hyped but then much maligned Google Glass, the first really big thing in augmented reality, which also failed to make any serious headway. So should you investigate a job in any of these alternate reality fields, or are we still tears away from anyone finding anything viable? As is almost always the case, following the money is a good clue to the answer. Depending on which Venture Beat article you believe, the VR…

Haptic Suit Technology and Virtual Reality Porn can kill a Marriage — Thank God!

Haptic Suit Technology and Virtual Reality Porn can kill a Marriage - Thank God!

What’s there to say about Virtual Reality Porn?  Let’s begin with the fact that Samsung’s Gear VR powered by Oculus sold out in 2 days on Amazon over the 2015 holiday season. To make this even more interesting Goldman Sachs, one of the largest banking firms predicts Virtual Reality will dominate over Television in 10 years’ time. Goldman Sachs analyst Heather Bellini says of Augmented Reality and VR, “it’s really going to change, I think, many aspects of our life and be completely disruptive,… over the next 10 years, it’s going to take off.” Gaming and entertainment will drive much of the growth, but car makers, retailers and even interior designers could bank on VR technology, Goldman said. Now make note all of this is based on hardware sales, Goldman Sachs’ estimated VR software sales figure of $72 billion, VR would generate $182 billion, nearly twice as much money than the TV market. You know what I say? That’s absurd, I say the Virtual Reality Porn industry is gonna blow past those numbers way sooner than 2025! And let’s not forget that it’s going to be way more than just visual stimulation! Virtual reality is how the masses will be…
