QVC Program Host Lifestyle On Air Host National Search

Do you have experience hosting live events, news, television, radio or trade shows, web broadcasts or as a Brand Spokesperson?

QVC, which sells over $8.8 billion dollars of products, is looking for someone who is passionate about products and sales for a live Full Time Program On Air Host role at the shopping network.

The QVC organization offers a total of 7,360 brands and has 13 million active shoppers, the vast majority of whom are women between 35 and 64 years and they produce over 47,50 hours of video content each year.

The QVC organization is the 3rd largest ecommerce company in the U.S. after Walmart and Amazon.

History of QVC:

QVC (an acronym for “Quality, Value, and Convenience”) has evolved from a cable, satellite and broadcast television network to becoming a leader in ecommerce and mobile repeat customers. QVC is owned by Liberty Interactive.

Founded in 1986 by Joseph Segel in West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States, QVC broadcasts to more than 370 million households in seven countries as QVC US, QVC UK, QVC Germany, QVC Japan, QVC Italy, QVC/CNR (China) and QVC France. QVC shipped approximately 191 million products in 2017 globally.

Program hosts build strong relationships based on trust with customers – they entertain and engage their viewers around a shared love of shopping. This is why approximately 93% of purchases come from repeat customers.

One of the pillars of QVC is its unique product offerings. In the US, QVC presents on average 800 products every week.

The QVC organization has more than 17,000 employees worldwide. The company has state-of-the-art broadcast and ecommerce operations at its corporate headquarters, known as “Studio Park,” as well as studios in all its global markets.

QVC Needs a Full Time Program Host

QVC has launched a national search for a Full Time Program Host to add to its already existing and growing on-air team. The Full-Time position is located in West Chester, PA. All hires must be willing to relocate to suburban Philadelphia for the opportunity. QVC broadcasts 24 hours a day, and all interested candidates must willing to work all shifts including overnights and weekends.

Can you Improvise and Engage?

The Host should be passionate about product and sales and must be comfortable conveying information in a live broadcast setting.

Candidates should be intelligent, enthusiastic and commanding as well as quick on their feet with the ability to improvise and engage. QVC hosts should be friendly, credible, entertaining, sincere and sophisticated with an elevated sense of style and fashion and should also be comfortable engaging in social media and building a fan community.

Interested candidates should email a letter of interest and recently updated resume along with a photo or headshot and any video links of your hosting work to Casting Director,

Sean De Simone at QVChostcasting@gmail.com.

Please make sure to properly label all submissions with a telephone number, email address and the city and state where you are currently located.

Please do not contact QVC directly.
