So who is the ide­al Learn­Vest Prod­uct Manager?

Get out there and man­age the cre­ative design, for­mu­late, gain align­ment, and exe­cute on the pro­gram. Iden­ti­fy resources need­ed, time­line and imple­ment project man­age­ment plans to ensure suc­cess­ful deliv­ery of the over­all client pro­gram. Estab­lish and man­age project bud­gets. Ensure pre­dictable, con­sis­tent, and suc­cess­ful pro­gram deliv­ery through direct man­age­ment and over­all coor­di­na­tion of all pro­gram relat­ed projects and tracks of work. Work close­ly with imple­men­ta­tion team (design­ers, archi­tects, engi­neers) to esti­mate, quan­ti­fy and mon­i­tor project scope, archi­tec­ture and devel­op­ment work streams, and prod­uct quality.

Devel­op a strong under­stand­ing of the client that includes their busi­ness dri­vers and strate­gies, com­pet­i­tive posi­tion in the mar­ket­place, indus­try trends, key strate­gic part­ner rela­tion­ships, as well as key exec­u­tives and deci­sion mak­ers, etc. Account­able for the devel­op­ment and main­te­nance of all scope relat­ed doc­u­men­ta­tion, require­ments doc­u­men­ta­tion and cre­ation of busi­ness process doc­u­men­ta­tion where applicable.

For your bag of tricks make sure you have all of these. 5+ years of prod­uct man­age­ment expe­ri­ence includ­ing 5+ years of expe­ri­ence in cus­tom prod­uct devel­op­ment, sys­tems inte­gra­tion, and/or soft­ware devel­op­ment hav­ing worked close­ly with engi­neers. Expe­ri­ence with con­sumer sub­scrip­tions and finan­cial ser­vices expe­ri­ence strong­ly pre­ferred. Bach­e­lor’s Degree required, abil­i­ty to act autonomous­ly and gain the con­fi­dence of cus­tomer exec­u­tives and senior man­age­ment team. Demon­strat­ed cre­ative prob­lem solv­ing abil­i­ty, effec­tive oral, pre­sen­ta­tion, and writ­ten com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills. High­est stan­dards of eth­i­cal and pro­fes­sion­al behav­ior, con­sis­tent with the company’s val­ues and busi­ness con­duct policies.
